What is B Khata?
A B Khata property is a property that does not have a valid A Khata certificate. A Khata is a property record maintained by the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), which is the municipal corporation of Bengaluru.
B Khata properties are typically those that have been constructed in violation of building byelaws, or those that are located in unauthorized layouts. B Khata properties may also be those that have not paid all of their property taxes.
Disadvantages of B Khata properties

How to convert B Khata to A Khata

- Pay the applicable conversion fee.
- Submit an application to the BBMP for conversion of the B Khata to an A Khata.
